Privacy Policy

Data controller: Isromania Luxury Residences SRL, a company incorporated in Romania (registration details as shown in the site footer) ('the Company', 'we', 'us'). Contact: office@is-romania.com.

This policy explains how we process the personal data of visitors to this website, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), applicable Romanian law and, for visitors from Israel, the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981.

What we collect

  • Enquiry form: full name, phone number (optional), email address (optional), area of interest, and any message you choose to include. Providing this information is voluntary β€” you are under no legal obligation to provide it β€” but without contact details we cannot respond to you.
  • WhatsApp: if you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, that communication is processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms and privacy policy.
  • Technical data: our hosting provider processes IP addresses and standard server logs for the security and operation of the site.

Purposes and legal basis

We use your details to respond to your enquiry and to contact you about the properties and services you expressed interest in (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) β€” steps prior to entering into a contract, and Art. 6(1)(f) β€” legitimate interest). We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Recipients

Enquiry data is stored in a secure database hosted by Supabase (EU region). The site is hosted on Vercel. If email notifications are enabled, enquiry details are also processed by Resend to deliver the notification. These providers act as our processors under data-processing agreements.

Retention

We retain enquiry data for up to 3 years from our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to establish or defend legal claims.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, restriction of processing, data portability, and you may object to processing. You may lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP, www.dataprotection.ro) or with the authority in your country. If the Israeli Privacy Protection Law applies to you, you also have the rights of inspection and correction under that law, and the right to be removed from any direct-mailing list. To exercise any right, email office@is-romania.com.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. A functional session cookie is used only in the private administration area and is not set for visitors. If we add analytics tools in the future, this policy will be updated first.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the current version, with its date, is always published on this page.
